Zenith Server Backups is a private backup application operated by Ade Chrysler (adechrysler@gmail.com).
The application requests Google Drive access through rclone. This permission technically allows listing, reading, creating, updating, and deleting Drive files. The configured backup workflows use designated backup folders to store and restore archives.
Selected server data is encrypted by Restic on the source server before upload. Google Drive stores the encrypted archives. The owner's servers process source files; OAuth credentials are stored in protected configuration on owner-operated servers and the administrator's Mac.
Data is not sold, used for advertising, or shared with unrelated third parties. Google processes Drive data under its own policies. Application access to Google user data follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.
The account owner can revoke this application's access in Google Account permissions. Revocation stops future authorized transfers; existing archives remain until the owner deletes them. Backup retention is controlled by the owner.
